Well I know the art's a tad slow lately, though I am working on a lil something, I thought I'd go ahead and properly post the timeline for my fur Universe. Posted it up once some time ago in a Journal but this way makes things a lil easier.
Timeline
Furr Universe Timeline
2132- First furr created.
2150- Furrs escape from lab, Furr retrovirus leaked into planetary environment.
2181- Furrs granted full rights in all first world nations
2214- Nathaniel Born
2234- Olen the first Furr dies.
2238- Tensions between furrs and humans on the rise
2242-Tensions reach fever pitch. Human Furr global war breaks out.
2326- War ends. Furrs Victorious, Many parts of the world reduced to midevil level technology.
2327- Surviving industrial nations band together and form the UFA. United Furr Alliance.
2328-Bellfry born
2330- UFA stabilizes economic system and begins ecological restoration project.
2361-Chimour Born
2420- Humans officially declared extinct.
2450- Pampers officially changes name to Pawpers.
2607- UFA declares it's infrastructure fully restored and ecological restoration declared a resounding success.
2612- UFA officials sign the Upliftment act to educate and raise level of technology in fallen zones.
2613 to 2998- Various small scale conflicts of inhabitants of Fallen Zones against UFA forces.
3000- Pawpers begins making youth and adult sized diaper. Not widely marketed.
3003- Upliftment act declared successful.
3015- John Handerson's historical archive found.
3020- Talks of global government begins.
3086-Warren Born
3088- All nations sign the united governance act and form the first global government called the GFC Global Furr Collision
3097- Pawpers begin wide marketing of an improved youth and adult product line.
3098- Lig Born, Warren now 12
3106- Lig now 8, Warren now 20, Parents died in car crash.
3110- Present day, Lig 12 Warren 24

I don't think humanity really died out...sure humans did, but...what you are doesn't make who you are. Can understand how the furrs are victorious...when the humans start growing furry traits, and the rational minds can console the xenophobes (highly difficult but hey...we are dealing with unusual situations), well, to take a quote from the musical "Hairspray..."
