For some reason, my recent songs are playing back all fucked up in the embedded player. Please download it before listening so it doesn't sound like crap.
Over at ScrewAttack.com, Ben announced a new show for the site, called Metal Gear Ben. ( http://screwattack.com/MGB/ComingSoon ) I was called upon to be one of the main music guys for the show, along with Marc Marta, a composer for the g1 group, Gamma Prime, which is a freelance game production group.
In the past, while working on music for Gamma Prime, Marc had been the one to compose music, while I would take his compositions and rearrange them in my software. Not this time. Marc has nothing to do with this crap.
I was just piddling around with my plugins and thought I'd try to make something that might be used in the show. Of course, without any solid information about the show, I didn't really know what to write for, so I just tried to put something together that sounded like it might work for the show. So here ya go.
Drums and percussion: StormDrum and Ecstatic Grooves
Synths: Sytrus
No, I didn't forget about the Top Ten project. I just hit a huge snag with the guitars in #9. I'll probably just skip it for now and go on to #8.
