It's been a while since my last post, and I figured I'd put up some of the stuff I'm working on. I don't have as much time to draw, but I'm still working on art when I can. This scene is going to end up being a late afternoon'ish farm shed type deal, and still needs a bunch more work. You can sort of see the very early stages of my attempt to stick in more dramatic shadows, but some of the things I'm trying are still...well, slowly evolving.

Hahah, yeah... I couldn't sleep, and I was still working out some bugs with my OBS setup (formatted the computer recently). I think I'm good to go for a problem free stream next time I try at least!
I think If I didn't get so much satisfaction out of seeing all these things come together in the background, I wouldn't put them there. It's something about knowing that something as small as a nail or a scratch in a wooden beam doesn't exist if I don't make it exist that makes me do it; I'm drawing a picture, but I can also tell a story and create a world.
...I also get to find lots of excuses to draw things I normally wouldn't :)!
