Here we have Simon again. He's a character that I originally bought because I loved his design, and then realized that I really wanted to have a character in the Star Wars universe. Behold!

People that played Knights of the Old Republic 2 may recognize this as similar to the Jal Shey armor, which hinted at a different philosophy of the force. The Jal Shey were force sensitives that sought to understand the force intellectually, rather than spiritually as the Jedi and Sith did.

Simon exists in the same universe, but a different galaxy from the rest of Star Wars, a galaxy where force-sensitives are integrated into society peacefully. Where he lives, force-sensitives are leaders of industry as artisans, and occasionally as combatants. It's illegal and considered a terrible taboo for force-sensitives to try to manipulate non-sensitives in any way with the force, but their usefulness is celebrated. Lightsabers technology is underdeveloped and unpopular due to the abundance of cortosis found in populated planets. The similarities between the intellectual acceptance of the force to those in a different universe has also created similarities in fashion that have increased utility for those with the force.

By day, Simon is a talented droid fabricator, designer and programmer, owing his speed and precision to his force-sensitive nature. There are those in his family that sense that his destiny is more than his day job. During his teenage years, he'd been given training in hand-to-hand combat with the force. His compassionate but self-assured demeanor assures the people that know him that he would put his skills to good use, but Simon has always felt a greater calling in his work.
