One of the sketches that went out to our Kickstarter backers- we scanned most of 'em, and Liz and I are throwing some color in there for fun. So voila! Karo in all his feathery glory. The Patrons had early access to this one.

I cannot wait to see this guy get into more action scenes. The vibrant colors of his wings and tail, with the energy he gets in combat, reminds me very much of the Eldar from Dawn of War. "Taste the Rainbow Nightmare Bitches!"

What I love about Karo's design is that, in less apt hands, he would look waaaaaay too over the top. The colors are bright, but not TOO bright and the featherwork is keen without being obnoxious. I love this guy.
