hehe a lot of people don't know that Aquarius is air. I be an earth sign, Virgo. I always loved how much depth you put into your art. Really nice work :)

You know, my boyfriend is a Virgo... him being an earth sign makes SO much sense! What's the secondary element for Virgo, do you know? I'm just going take a guess and say water knowing him, but I dunno. =3

secondary element? Naw it doesn't work like that *giggles* Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn are all earth signs,- and they are all ruled by different planets :D I think what you are meaning is the ascendant- Every person is born with the influence of 2 signs. 1. is your sun sign. 2. is your ascendant (your secondary sign that is determined by the exact time of your birth). So your boyfriend may have a water sign (scorpio, pieces, or cancer) influencing him with his sun sign, Virgo. :)

My ascendant is Libra, so I have an air sign with my virgo earth sign. :D

hmm, I've never tried... I have some small 4" X 6" glossy print paper, but I've never tried glossy! Do you prefer glossy prints usually? I've always gone for mat surface because I don't like having to move around a surface reflection to get to the image.

There is so many awesome little details to love about this piece. I think I am seriously falling in love with the way you do shoulder fur and feathers. ^^; Your characters have so much... I have to say "body and substance" in lack of better words. They feel present, real, bearing a weight in existence. I absolutely adore that. They aren't flat in the least. The fading of body parts and your shading are truly outstanding.

Also the distortion of the paw through the water is a magnificent effect!

I didn't realize that Aquarius had air properties! I always assumed the water because of 'aqua'. I see my horoscope in a whole new light now. *laugh*

Beautiful as per usual. The simple inclusion of the aqua swirls on the paws and feather tips is very appealing rather than all black or aqua. I'm loving the yellow eyes too! They stand out wonderfully and draw you right to the face. :3

This is so fantastic. I personally have a tough time shading black. You on the other hand have a real nack for being able to see little flecks of color and tones that I wouldn't have even thought to add to the piece that give it such a nice texture and overall look. Absolutely amazing! I love your work!
