Putting a date on art like this makes posting things in January very awkward

A little practice piece, playing with light, thought it was kinda sweet so I'm going to drop it here. Believe me, my practice pieces don't usually end up this well, so I'll just leave this happy little accident here. Also on the practice block, facial expressions and the entire process by which I draw dragons; I found my old dragon drawing books from primary school so I thought I might as well take a flick through and refocus. I feel this is indicative of the level of talent I have on display...
