A lovely spontaneous commission I did for
hotjazz while multistreaming with
Stampy. It is something I do now and then, the multistreaming that is. And some people don't realize I do commissions. In fact, if it has someone's name attached to it, it almost always is a commission. I just might not say it outright.
A copy/paste from my front page info if you want to know: "About commissions for my macro/hyper/paw art. I do everything privately over note or Skype. I rarely post formal offers/journals. So send a note if you are interested. I try to follow a general rule of about $10 per hour of work but at a flat rate per item to give you a ballpark figure of what it would cost. Unless I really like the idea, then I might do cheaper than that."
Anyways, about the picture. The Jazz mentioned he likes having his dragon characters destroying planets with his tail, so this came to mind. Most of my friends who know me well, know that spacescapes don't intimidate me, despite working with colored pencil on black paper. I have learned most of what I know from the professional digital space artists. This one was no different. I have an extensive cache of space art references for most of my needs, macrophila included.
I guess one mistake I see i made was that it looks like he is slamming his tail into the planet in the left direction. I intended it to slicing through it. moving in the right direction.
Well, enjoy ya'll! ^^
