Challenge Accepted - Italian Pasta Meal Served!
If you caught wuff's recent journal (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7329109/ ), you know that wuff accepted a challenge to cook for his military customers if they came back his workplace to continue the document review we've been doing out at their air base. After a bit of thought and bouncing ideas about, Vrghr decided to do something Italian for the group.
The main course was 3 pastas, with 3 different sauces, displayed in the order and colors of the Italian Flag (green, white, and red). Some wonderful furs chimed in on Vrghr's journal with ideas and suggestions for this feast, from the types of Pasta shapes to use, to ideas for side dishes, desserts, and appetizers.
Vrghr would like to thank the following furs for their advice and contributions!
johnnyblanco for the suggestions on the pasta types, and the idea for the appetizer; "Mozzarella in Carrozza"! That's the toasted triangle oozing out the hot, cheesy Mozzarella in the top row of the top picture.
yelleena Reminded wuffy to add side dishes; garlic toast and salad! And for (of course), not letting wuffy forget the dessert! Without her, wuff wouldn't have created that LUSCIOUS Panna Cotta with Raspberry Compote shown in the bottom photo!
blimpwolf Gave Vrghr the idea for a tasty and unusual side; Zucchini and Asparagus Crudi. You can see Vrghr's interpretation of this in the bowl at the top right of the top meal photo. It got several complements from guests and office workers alike!
So this really was a joint effort, and this wuff sincerely appreciates ALL of you wonderful furry friends for helping wuffy along to a successful conclusion of this challenge! *HUGS HUGS HUGS*
Wuff will be posting up recipes for the individual items in his main gallery. But wanted to get this out there, and the thanks to go with it, before that happened.
Oh, just in case furs were wondering, folks LOVED this meal! So many complements from the guests and office co-workers alike! So thank you one and all for your help in putting this menu and Challenge together! You all are GREAT! *more hugs*

You're not the only one looking forward to the recipes. *grins* Wuff had requests from several of our guests for the recipes to these sauces too! And for the Panna Cotta!
The "fun' part will be remembering everything this wuffy put into the sauces. Got into one of those "cooking whirlwinds" and started adding this and that by taste, and forgot to take notes at the time. But Vrghr's pretty sure this wuff has most of it all memorized, and the rest will pop into mind as he works out the text of the recipes.
Going to start things off with the Panna Cotta, since that one is SO easy (and SO GOOD! YUM!!!!)!

Thankfully, with the variety of the pasta's and sauces, even if you weren't thrilled with the shrimp, there would be plenty of other goodies to satisfy a pasta appetite! *grins*

Thank you so kindly for your helpful suggestion! Wuff has had a LOT of requests for the recipe for that salad! Both from his guests and from the co-workers as well! What a great addition it was, nice and light to balance all those heavy pasta carbs! *hugs*
Of course, what else should wuffy expect from such an accomplished chef yourself, of the Full Moon Kitchens! It was definitely a great idea!

Oh jeezal! Ya mean there's critters STILL challengin' ya Wuff?... this is the part where yer s'posed ta say "Don't you know who I am? I'm the JuggerWUFF bitch!" then go barrelin' through the kitchen leavin' a wake of deliscious meals behind ya heh... seriously tho I think at this point the only challenge ya really have is yer food actually makin' it ta the plates! (gorgeous dinnerware btw) ;)

And it turns out, they're sturdy enough to wash and reuse, so it's an extra benefit. Wuff has gifted them to the office to upgrade our presentation for special events!
Wuffy is seriously laughing and giggling all about the office over this! Co-workers are starting to wonder.... *giggles more*
That might have to become Vrghr's cookin' tagline! Maybe the "JuggerCHEF"? Either way, it left a delightful mental picture!! Vrghr might need to commission this!

And it turns out, they're sturdy enough to wash and reuse, so it's an extra benefit. Wuff has gifted them to the office to upgrade our presentation for special events!
Met and exceeded expectations! They were like the world's best grilled cheese! Everyone really loved them! Just look at the thick, soft Mozzarella oozing out the edge of that triangle! Mmmm!
