There were multiple fursuiters at the expo, all a part of the Michigan Freelance Mascots group, including Trooper (Sharpe19), Tycho the Aussie, Brooklyn, Spark the dragon, Barkley Beaver, Money the Rottweiler, and many more! We were a huge hit, just wandering around and entertaining kids. Lots of pictures were taken, a lot of smiles and laughs given, and a lot of heartfelt moments like this. They loved us so much, we got asked to come back again next year!
As soon as Barkley showed me this picture after he took it, my heart instantly melted. This is why I love fursuiting/costuming. Making others smile and laugh while people enjoy the art of the suit and the art of suiting. I over heard a lot of compliments like "what a beautiful costume", "they're great with kids", etc, and it makes my day every time I hear it.
