In the Extranatural world, there are many strange and unusual creatures that come to be pets for strange and unusual people. There are dozens of species, varying in shape, size, and origis, but in Felton, given that most of the stranger denizens of the town (and therefore, their pets) live underground - and the varied and strange animals sometimes get into the sewer system, their cryptid companions are frequently called "sewer puppies".

Deep One Hybrid Mike Wheeler - M.E.A. member, off and on sailor, welder and dock worker - has a little sewer pup of his own: a kind of water gremlin known in German as a Meerquälgeist, or "Sea Nag". Best known for their love of eating certain metals, they are a rare but irritating pest for folks on boats. Mike found his little buddy while out working on a freighter a few years back, nibbling on the hull... After a couple of weeks of trying to exterminate the little bastard, he gained a begrudging liking of it by the time he finally caught it and decided to keep it. The little fellow's name is Gorton - for one of the curses he shouted at the little thing after it stole one of his tools: "IF I CATCH YOU I'M TURNING YOU INTO FISHSTICKS!"

This is a fun little freebie doodle I got in a  Fleatrollus stream, and it's positively adorable. Flea's drawn Mike for me previously, and while he's not tattooed yet (still waiting on another artist to get back to me on that), he's still a handsome fella. And I also used this as an opportunity to delve a little into the critters found in the Underground with the little one Flea made sitting on his shoulder, with some help from my mate,  JosephH, who made up the name and a bit of information on the creature... And is already planning on fleshing them out further, I'm sure. :3
