a while ago i said i was going to post a pic of my hissing cockroach so here it is!!

in the wild they live in the leaf litter on the forest floor, so they eat various decaying plant and animal matter. to try to simulate a varied diet i feed mine a blend of dry dog foo, dry cat food, alfalfa, hamster feed, and cracked corn. it also gets a sampling of fresh fruits and vegetables once a week :>
