So once upon a time back in 2011 I decided that Arachnis didn't have the look of a villain
that I was hoping for. So it was back to the drawing board. Her personality would still be
the same, but I needed to come up with a look that exerts her beauty (she's a bit of a
Narcissist), yet gives the feeling that she is not to be messed with. Even in her original
design, my aim had widow spider inspiration, but this concept I decided took it a much
needed step further. Since then, this design has stuck, and since then, every year I make
her a little more insect like, but still trying to keep her beauty in mind. This first art
of her reboot features her in Latrodectus Hesperus (classic black and red) colors.
