Last year, we watched the underdog Downriver Waves kick a field goal (in OVERTIME!) to secure the first championship in UFFL history. BALTIMORE could be considered the underdog team here, but sheer dominance in the playoff games makes you want to hold your breath. The story here being the phenomenal play of Aspen Redfield (QB - Deer) and his two wide receivers, Sorin Furchet (Sand fox) and John Gradkowski (Alligator/Anole). NEW YORK, on the other paw, has two rookie phenoms of their own. Des Widmore (Leopard) and Justice Matari (Cerval) have been getting all the press in this week leading up to the big game. Whether they can be tamed by an admittedly weak Ponies secondary remains a big question. William Tancreti (DE - Hedgehog) would surely like to get his spines up in the business of Redfield and record a sack or two. The quote from last year remains - defense wins championships - but it sure seems like the offense determines a team's fate more than anything in 2015.
