I had the idea for this piece back in November. I just didn't know where this pocket watch was. Finally found it not that long ago and have once again returned to carrying it on me at all times. Even though the battery is dead, it goes with me everywhere. It's only fitting that I was listening to the song I was on repeat while I worked on this, while I hate the one artist involved I love the beat and the lyrics rang true at a time, given how I came to own this particular pocket watch.
