Excuse me, by saying that you hate backgrounds, do you mean that they mean a lot of work, or that they don't look good? I'm pretty it's the first, cause yours look fine. I used to make a lot of blurry backgrounds, re-use them over and over again, even if the perspective changes.... people wanted it to look more professionally, and... here we are. Took me all of 2 years to make this newest chapter.

So yes, I fully agree that backgrounds are a pain, especially when some artists do one colored backgrounds sometimes, and only the most observant ones notice!
