During the Horse Show last year, I was trying to play with portraits as well as playing with background lighting to get good yet interesting photos that may stand out from the rest of my "work / study". This was one of the quite satisfactory ones.

I deeply thank you Very very much You may be well correct in the coloration. There were a few there at the show, and I did get quite a few of them taken. As you say there are quite "rare" I will have to find go through and find the rest :) I deeply Thank you to liking the portrait :) They are very inspiring words and they warm my heart .
Horses are my favourite animals to "use" in my study in camera technique and improving skills although I love to photograph all animals.
One of my "kind of flaws" when doing these, is that I always place the focal point on the Animals instead of what many will prefer, the rider or handler.
We are all different in what we like I guess :D
