Ah...back then, I had no concept of line width. This cyberpunk illustration depicts a reporter for News 5. Apparently, she is in a war-zone, hence the body armor and weapon.
This illustration, from which this copy came from, was from issue #2, page 15, of a New Orleans anime club 'zine called "Anime Exchange." Because it was a xerox, the detail on the Uzi Pistol inspired weapon is washed out.

For awhile, I used "hard line" cel shading (like you'd see on actual anime cels) and in fact, I used to ink the lines for the shading right on the original and once in Photoshop, I'd lasso the area, dump in the fill color, then erase the line. It is one reason I never sold originals...they could be a mess. Once I got a tablet, I went to doing more "soft" shading.
