Aaah, I thought I sensed something in the air ... FurAffinity is four years old today. Happy Birthday FA! :)
(FA birthday announcement: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1896964/ )
This piece was done to commemorate the anniversary, in the form of a 50's-style comic book poster or movie poster. I certainly had fun doing it. I believe sometime soon FA may be offering this as a print for sale.
In the meantime, though, if you're looking for some original art and a piece of FA history ... I'm running an auction on FurBuy. The winner gets three things: the original pencil art, the original inked comic board, AND a full-size high-quality color poster of the artwork. Check it out here, the auction will wrap up right after FC next week: http://www.furbuy.com/auctions/1007701.html
Thank you and enjoy! :)

Heh heh heh, font love. All the fonts come from Comicraft .... http://www.comicbookfonts.com/
The title is set in Goosebumps Open. The narration box below it is set in Rumble and Rumble Open. And the word balloon is set in Meanwhile, Regular and Bold Italic.

Bwahahahahaha!!! Is this what you were eluding to earlier in your journal? http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/591171/

Heh, yeah, Comicraft is a bit pricey. But I love their fonts and it's a tax writeoff for me. :)
Do take a look at the "Zap Pack" though ... it's their budget beginner offering, $30 gives you a good basic but solid comic lettering font.
Also check https://www.blambot.com ... I haven't been there in awhile but they have some decent cheap and free fonts as well.

Made me think of Homestarrunner.com's King Bub's Gonzola Cartoon in raccoon form! http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail166.html
