This is the first doodle I've drawn in months (done during a lull between games at this week's Scrabble Club 276 meeting).
My inspiration came from FedEx Office (formerly Kinko's), where you can assemble stuff to be photocopied, using supplies like white-out, scissors, glue-sticks, tape, and pens. Oddly enough, regarding the latter item, they only have pens and no pencils. (I even remember when the place even had pens WITH erasers.) So, I usually bring my own pencils to use on personal projects. Of course, if FedEx Office doesn't have any pencils, they certainly DON'T have pencil sharpeners, either!
Hence, the creation of a rather clever beaver who puts his instinctive talents (as well as his economic motivations) to some good use...
