Scout supports the Boy and Girl Scouts of AMERICA HECK YEAH! And you should too! Three...paw pad salute! XD
Reminder that it's Girl Scout cookie season (Or at least it is where I am, and it should be for everyone soon!) so get out there and buy some delicious cookies while supporting your local Girl Scouts! Two of my nephews are Boy Scouts, I always buy popcorn from them every year, it's delicious!

Culturally it isn't odd to us. I remember on a radio show they explained why our Scouts sell cookies/popcorn is to teach them about financial management, aside from raising money to support their troop. Scouting sure has come a long way, I see merit badges for technology and such, it's about so much more than the great outdoors now.
