I'm guessing it's because of it being a self insert? Which is... kind of silly, since Undertale's main protagonist is pretty much a blank slate and could be literally anything or anyone you'd want them to be.

Not really. Attempting to bring harm, physical or emotional, to others purely for your own enjoyment without their full consent isn't just sadism, it's sociopathic. And that's not really something to brag about.

I've always bragged about being a sociopath...to those who get to know me. Sadism is fun for the sadist, and it does involve pain, suffering, or even just discomfort. It's the polar end of masochism, meaning yes...we are rather similar. Or polar opposites, but both are equally correct.

Oh man, here come the feels again.

Okay look, I don't mean to rant.... BUT

When someone says *spoiler alert* about a game that is probably the most talked about thing these past few months, I don't believe that needs to be added. This game has been out long enough for anyone on the internet to hear about it and either purchase and play or watch someone play it. With as many people in the fanbase as is and the millions of people who love and have thoroughly enjoyed this title. Don't you think *spoiler alert* is getting too be-nine? This game has one of the best stories and character/plot developments of the century. I would wish that everyone would play this game tbh... But anyway, my point being is that this game has received enough attention online that unless you hole up in a dark unknown part of the interwebs, then you should already know this exists.

Ranting aside, This is such a beautiful piece of artwork you did. I didn't like flowey to begin with, but after he became a person again through having the souls.... it made me feel like i was wrong about him. Sure, he is a bit f*ked up in the head... but wouldn't you after so many resets? (groundhog day syndrome) Asriel is one of my favorite characters because he is just so real, and so intimate when you find out about him and how he completes the story and fills in most of those gaps that you were questioning throughout the game... I loved that scene, it brought many tears to my eyes. And this piece of artwork, well it has the same gut-wrenching feels to it.

I still have plenty of friends who haven't played it and many more people as well. Its just courteous to Toby as he asks for people to
do this, and its so a person not in the know can have the best experience with the game. So yes while people should know this exists,
a lot of people still don't know all the details, or have actually had time to sit down ans play thus the spoiler warning.

All I can think about is a specific Nine Inch Nails song when I see this...

Aww... that is so emotionally powerful. I haven't played the game (and doubt I'll ever get the time to). I think all the art though brings it to life in a far more powerful way. And while a lot of Undertale art is definitely Rule-34ish, this.... this is just plain beautiful. Of all the Undertale art I've seen, this is the one that makes me want to play the game. Nicely done.

I don't think there's any point in this game that was actually bad. Everything about Undertale is just perfect. The music, the message, the battle system, the characters. This scene was amazing and almost made me start crying. I didn't, but I almost did. Such a fantastic finale to such a fantastic game.

I love this piece dont get me wrong, its so adorable and I love Asriel's cute paws, but man, this would of been perfect if it werent for that black and red fursona, I really, REALLY wish there was a version without him, im fine with furry ocs, but not edgy looking ones like this
