Lighting study. I tried to imagine what a mouse would look like under a spotlight in a dark room. This was my first time giving serious effort to pay attention to the effect on value that lights have. I did this about a week ago, and is my second digital picture. There was no reference photo for this one. I definitely see areas where I need to improve, as I distinctly recall mice having a yellowish hue when light transmits through their fur. I gave that a shot and just wasn't happy with the results, so I abandoned that pursuit and just went with the colors shown here.
