True, but he was also much older and more experienced - he earned it! His body was pretty consistent throughout the original run, hence a consistent and generally non-threatened red shirt, but he got bigger after the rest of the bridge crew was either promoted to admiral status or sent to other ships and the Constitution-class was refitted.

Mega Trek Triva: He looks a lot like Dr. Ree from Captain Riker's starship, Titan!

Wait, they have pictures of the Titan's crew? I'd love to see that since yeah, they have a scalie on the crew. Riker knows how to pick 'em, that's for sure.

I've not seen any proper pics of the Titan crew yet, although I think that's supposed to be Dr. Ree on the cover of book 3, "Orion's Hounds."

Somewhere along the line he delivered a human baby, and decided that although small mammals made him hungry, it wasn't a thought to be shared with any of the crew.

I should check out the rest of the Titan books. I stopped after the first one. ^^;

It was an "encounter at farpoint" where we faced "the gamesters of Triskillion". They wanted "a piece of the action" but we told them we were on "a voyage home". We had just come off "shore leave" and there we were leaning a new dance ,"the corbomite manuver". Some furries were there too because there was "a wolf in the fold". He had some glowsticks at a rave and there was "the inner light" to move to the music. Down in the game room a bunch of Klingon's were upset about the games systems. They wanted the retro stuff and kept yelling "GIVE ME GENISIS".

We thought it best to leave before anyone else would get upset and have an "insurrection" or get "a taste of armmegeddon". So we checked our list for our "first contact" and left. It was then we saw something we never saw before. It was "an undiscoverd country" near "the final frontier". We arranged to explore "the best of both worlds" but, it looked like a "city on the edge of forever". We had heard the legends for "generations" but, the time we had left for explorations was our greatest "nemesis". So, we plotted a course back to "the last outpost" and got out of there in a "wink of an eye".
