This is our Base Camp at little Glass Butte. Our tent was under that tree. We actually slept in the truck and stored our equipment and collected rocks/boulders in the tent for safe keeping. It kept the stuff out of view when we went out mining. We both collected our 200 pound limit of obsidian from most of the popular sites getting stuff ranging from mahogany to black lace and almost everything in-between. Our dig was very successful and we netted some really beautiful pieces.
