The girl in white is Hyana; she's my tomboy princess OC
it's just one of those stories i keep daydreaming over and over, and it has a million versions by now.
story from my original universe - Hyana is a previous reincarnation of my sona Aki from thousands of years ago

story/script with terrible english:
Hyana (girl in white) used to be friends, soon maybe even lovers with a demon called Rogan; but humans despise demons, and her father, the king hated them the most. To stop her daughter straying from the right path, he had the demon burned publicly on a stake, and forced Hyana to watch as the flames consumed him.
Scarred for life, she grown to hate humans; the exact opposite reaction her family wished for.


The reason the demon was interested in her to begin with was however her mana; which was very rare for humans to possess, and if they were to found, they were executed as humans did not allow magic on their land.
Years later she finds out that the demon was noone else but Rogan, lost brother of Dearen, prince of the demons; it wasn't a coincidence, as he left the kingdom in search of new mages. (every first mage has their own unique magic. Hyana has light magic, capable of low damage weapon summon, shielding, and healing, and therefore she is extremely valuable to magic users)

when she was offered to a prince from the desert lands as a bride for some political reasons, she called on the ancient law that allowed a bride to duel the proposing man; she defeated and killed him in front of both of their families (only using her sword, no magic)
She was known as the mad princess from then on.

She offers her services to the demon king in secret, telling him she also seeks revenge for Rogan; but after learning about her mana, the king decides it is more advantageous to marry his son to her; mostly as their offspring would be a very powerful demon.

Dearen challenges Hyana to fight; it is very obvious from the start that Hyana stands no chance, as Dearen is a great mage warrior, but she manages to trick him into falling; she learned from Rogan that demon's weakest points are their tail; Dearen doesn't expect Hyana to know this. (picture)

She reveals her magic powers during that fight to the request of the demon king; as Dearen wins the fight, they cannot execute her anymore as she is now engaged. (but everyone is terrified and confused because magic is bad bad)
Her brother cannot accept this however, and attacks her. While he isn't that good of a fighter, Hyana is relucant against him, which costs her her arm; but she manages to stab him in the chest, not intentionally fatally wounding him.

Ending 1:
She then marries Dearen, travels to the magical land of the North, where dragons roam and magic is flourishing, the memories haunt her but she finds her happiness. She gets a mechanic/magic driven new arm. (a nice and sleek one, not a big mech part)
Ending 2:
The humans kill Dearen from the back. Hyana rages, and her powers tear up, killing everyone nearby, except some stronger demons. As she can't stand the guilt, she tries to kill herself; but as she would try, a spell is cast; her healing powers bring back Dearen and Rogan from death, for the price of her own life.

I would like to make another version of the story into a comic much much later; it's more bloody and more interesting, with Gods and an initially evil Dearen, and a very different ending, but that's for the future. She originally lost her hand because Dearen ate it, and it has just been transferred to the other versions in other forms. (some demons eat humans, and they eat them very much alive)
and I'm likely to rename Rogan, or stylize his name as i have since learnt that the name is taken by some podcaster.
