Just another LA Devotee
It's almost been a year since i moved out of my parents' place and moved across the country to live in California with the loves of my life <3 I really wanted to draw something to commemorate that.
And Panic! At the Disco's "LA Devotee" really reminds me of how i felt the days leading up to me moving out here.
I remember it snowing a lot, i really enjoyed how it looked at night, but it made me nervous, too. I didn't want snow or ice to cause a delay or any sort of trouble for my flight out here (and it didn't! Fortunately enough, although it seemed like everyone else at every airport seemed to be having some sort of weather related trouble with their flight).
I remember being up late. I usually was in a Skype call with Seth and Icey until 3am my time. Even after getting off and heading to sleep, i would stay awake in my bed for a little bit, just thinking and fantasizing about what it would be like out there. Colorful, neon lights, streetlights, desert, different weather, things that i could remember from my trip out there a few months prior.... but most importantly, life with my beautiful and wonderful partners. The ones who made me the happiest i've ever been, who supported me through so much... finally being with them in person meant the world to me. Because they mean the world to me.

Just another LA Devotee
It's almost been a year since i moved out of my parents' place and moved across the country to live in California with the loves of my life <3 I really wanted to draw something to commemorate that.
And Panic! At the Disco's "LA Devotee" really reminds me of how i felt the days leading up to me moving out here.
I remember it snowing a lot, i really enjoyed how it looked at night, but it made me nervous, too. I didn't want snow or ice to cause a delay or any sort of trouble for my flight out here (and it didn't! Darling, I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I have you. How precious you are to me, and how much I love you!
I remember being extremely excited for you to move in- I remember fantasizing and daydreaming and thinking about your earlier trip and how passionately I feel about you. You are a treasure, a blessing, and a gift in every way. You've brought so much genuine happiness out of me and I am so thankful for you. You mean the world to me, and you always will! My sweet sunshine - my everything. <3
This year has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. So many wonderful memories, so many wonderful things, and just the blessing of waking up to you every morning. The time we went to the zoo together, going to Disneyland with you, staying up late watching Yu-gi-oh, the time we had to drive half an hour away to pick up pizza because Seth's a moron and sent it to the wrong Pizza Hut, going to that random mall an hour away to pick up the controller adapter Seth wanted, playing Okami and Kingdom Hearts and Dirge of Cerberus and Katamari and everything else together, the sweet coffee dates we've had, the inside jokes we've shared, kissing in the rain, walking around malls, long car drives singing to FOB and P!ATD, snuggling comfortably under blankets wrapped around each other, your soft kisses, BDUBS dates, developing characters together and alongside each other, long talks, night walks, cuddling during the desert storms. Every moment with you has been a dream come true - you're a dream come true!
I love how this looks. I love the colors you used, I love the mood and the dreamy feel to it! The outside looks genuinely frosty and cold, and the inside looks comfortable. His shirt looks SO comfy! And I love the anatomy in this, he's so well proportioned. I especially LOVE how you drew his pretty legs aaaaa. He looks so happy and I just love it so much! I love seeing you happy, I love seeing him happy!
I love you with all of my heart, darling, and I always will. With every bit of me, always and forever! I'm the luckiest person alive to be engaged to you, my sweet soulmate!
