Jacob stood in the middle of the park admiring his body. He couldn't believe that his potion actually worked! He was now a ginormous mass of fur and muscle! Looking at his surroundings, he guessed that he was anywhere from 30 to 40 feet tall in height. Jacob looked out into the distance, seeing the city nearby. "I can probably make a better guess of how big I am standing next to one of those buildings." he thought to himself. "I'd better walk carefully." Taking his time, he put one giant foot in front of the other, taking extra care to look where he was going and not step on anyone accidently. He had taken about five steps or so when he heard a noise. Jacob stopped and listened intently. It sounded like someone crying. Jacob's heart ached horribly as he heard the sound. He knew all too well the feeling of being sad. He looked around to see where the sound was coming from.
After a few seconds of searching, he saw who was making the sound. Hiding behind a nearby tree was a boy about as old as he was. Jacob could see him clinging to the tree out of not just sadness but fear also. He had a feeling of exactly what the boy was afraid of. Jacob smiled warmly. It was now time for him to show those around him just what kind of person he really was. Jacob was only a few feet from the boy. He knelt down on both knees as carefully and gently as he was able. "Hi there." he called out to the boy sincerely. "Please don't be afraid. I'm really quite sweet. I promise I won't hurt you." Jacob laid a giant hand down in front of the boy, palm face up. After a few seconds, he could see the boy slowly emerging away from the tree. "My name is Jacob." said he. "What's your name?" he asked. Through his tears, the boy spoke. "Joshua." he said. Jacob continued to smile full of warmth. "That's a good strong name, Joshua. Beautiful in fact." He saw Joshua smile a little bit, appreciating the compliment.
With his other enormous arm, Jacob motioned to himself as he spoke. "I realize that I might look awfully big and scary to you Joshua, but just because I am big and scary looking does that mean I am a monster?" Having stopped his tears for the moment, Joshua thought for a moment on what the giant had said. Looking up at Jacob, he shook his head saying, "No. I don't think so." Jacob smiled again. "Would you like for me to prove to you that I'm not a monster?" he asked the boy. Joshua nodded yes. "Hop onto my hand and i'll give you a hug." Jacob said. Joshua did so. Carefully lifting his hand and the tiny passenger on top of it, Jacob gently positioned Joshua in between his colossal pecs. Then, took both of his bulging arms and gently wrapped them around Joshua's small frame. Immediately, Joshua's fear of Jacob seemed to melt away. He suddenly felt very safe and secure, as if nothing in the world could ever hurt him. The feeling of being in between all of that muscle felt a little ticklish to Joshua too. He couldn't help but giggle a little bit.
Jacob saw the smile on his new little friend's face and smiled warmly in turn. "Am I still big and scary Joshua?" he asked. Joshua looked up at the giant and shook his head no with a smile. "Nope. Not at all. Your pretty cool! Thanks Jacob!" he said gratefully. Jacob nodded, continuing to smile warmly and said, "Your welcome Joshua, anytime.
