What are the fox spirits? Are they a representation of class type or are they guardians of a sort?

Pathfinder it a... Um... Adaptation of DnD 3.5. It's a tabletop game. Though we, and many others, use a website called roll20.

As for the spirits. They are reputations of the characters. Zuriel is a bounty hunter. Chiyo works as a cook, Jiri is an Orical.. Oh bother I forgot to add a part to it.. Finnal my character Ping is a dancer. He's also a bladebound magus. Meaning his sword is alive. Hence its own 'spirit'

it's a class thing, by level 3 I should have an enchanted sword anyway,
as a bladebound I get the sword at no cost, but xe has xer own goal, and at higher level even controll me should Xe wish.

we're gonna have to learn to get along...
