"Koi" Hammond

A re-imagining of my old Starbound OC after playing a ton of Viscera Cleanup Detail to fill up the hole in my life from not working thanks to a minor work injury involving my foot (My foot is still intact, no worries!).

Unimaginatively named "Koi" by his caretakers as well as being assigned a human last name for legal documents' sake, Koi grew up after being discovered orphan from a ship crash in a low-quality human colony on the edge of an obscure galaxy. Rather than being raised through the strict and relatively polite tradition of Hylotl life, Koi became hardened and brash through his upbringing with blue collar humans, not even seeing a fellow Hylotl until his late teens.

Having been a brief stint in the military, he was hired by a large corporation for various positions that required more dirty work (both literal and figurative) before landing his current position of a glorified janitor for the hush-hush projects that often backfire and end messily. Despite being a janitorial position by technicality, it's very high-risk and high-pay due to the cause of the incident often not being so contained by security or hazard teams. Not that Koi minds much, never had been one to shy from a fight.

Still unsure how he's gotten so large other than my own fetishy needs: differing diet in youth, stereotypical lab spill reaction, etc. May need input.

Also pondering on designing little work buddies for him for cleaning shennanigans and last ditch monstrous horror fighters for when the security forces miss some key entities in outbreak wipeup.
