This is JellyBean, my first (officially) created and finished fursona!
I've made others, but have just never finished a full ref-sheet or info/bio for them.

So, here goes! Let's get into the nitty-gritty of his bio!

PHYSICAL TRAITS:
JellyBean is a Dutch Angel Dragon based off of (you guessed it) jelly beans. Specifically watermelon flavored ones that are green on the outside and red on the inside. JellyBean is a hooved Angel Dragon, and has feathers over his hooves like a Clydesdale horse. He has a furry mane that extends from between his ears, all over his shoulders and down his chest, and down his spine to the base of his tail. I also added in what I've been affectionately referring to as "pubic hair", which is a puff of fur that covers the pubic region, goes between his legs, and runs along the underside of his tail. (The fur progressively goes from being thick, dense, and fluffy in the pubic region, to long, and hair/mane-like as it runs along the underside of his tail.) He has "horns" that are shaped like jellybeans as a crest that runs up his forehead, as well as three that are near the end of his tail that function as clubs. He has three pairs of wings, each getting progressively smaller. Due to his heavy tail, the extra wings are meant as extra lift, as well as more advanced steering for tighter turns and quicker movement. Even for a Dutch Angel Dragon, whose flight is assisted by energy, he is still a weak flyer and can more often only glide.

ENERGY MANIPULATION:
Energy-wise, his primary ability is hydrokinesis, with a specific emphasis on ice. He is adept at using hydrokinesis to cause water to turn to ice, draw moisture from the atmosphere, make small clouds, and by extension, cause electrical discharges by destabilizing the electrons in the clouds he makes. He also can make a "sludge" by ingesting things with water or other fluids, and delaying digestion, allowing the mixture to cure in his stomach. He can then spit or ooze this mixture from his mouth. Depending on what he ingests, it may be corrosive or even poisonous. Although I'm sure he could be convinced to exhale something more pleasant, like a fine mist that is merely scented.

BEHAVIOR & BIO:
Behaviorally, JellyBean is naturally alert, friendly, and energetic but not overtly hyper. He has a child-like inquisitiveness and eagerness to please, but can at times be shy if met by new people. His primarily makes short, punctuated chirps like a Northern Cardinal, but he also very much likes rattling noises like rain-sticks and maracas. He primarily makes those rattling and hissing noises when wanting to either garner attention, express displeasure or do a threatening display. Despite his amicable exterior and child-like behavior, JellyBean has a sometimes somber interior. He has recurring self-destructive behaviors like chewing at his claws and scratching, primarily due to a stay in the Abyss. While confined there, JellyBean had to learn to center his mind in order to escape, which resulted in his "sludge" ability. (His meditative state is what allowed him to become consciously aware of his "digestive" processes, allowing him to delay digestion and regurgitate the resulting matter.) The stay also gave him a minor proneness towards aggression, which typically manifests in him playing a little too roughly with his peers. Despite all of this, he is good-natured and will generally try to make amends for any transgressions.


This is also my first time not only working with GIMP, but using a drawing tablet! The coloration is a little choppy since I took the original ref sheet for JellyBean from Paint and had to clean it up. (Ugh. NEVER AGAIN.)
