It's my comic and I'll be cliché if I want to!

Lineart took ~1h 30min
Coloring took ~5h 10min
Nice thing about doing a comic is, once you get certain pages down, the coloring on later pages is as simple as color-picking those already used on previous pages. Case in point: the li'l skunk and the guy's jeans. But I think I should've color-planned ahead of time. I picked out the shade for the path and grass before considering the shade of the trees and leaves, and I was left a bit uncertain what to shade them in relation to each other. I'm also kinda wondering if I should've chosen a lighter shade for the path and grass, help the skunk stand out a bit more.
It wasn't until I got to the shading that I realized that the work it took to color and shade these first two pages could have been simplified and possibly made quicker. I've been trying to color and shade by carefully tracing where I want the color-shading to go, trying not to go over the lines or shade too far in. And so I realized that this Free Select tool could have saved me from tense movements. I could've just outlined what I wanted and quickly colored away. Hard telling if it'll make things faster, though. I took some extra time fixing the panel borders, and that was a lot of blades of grass to draw in.
