out of all the DDR planes, only the MiG-29 continued.

East Germany was lucky in that they were allowed to purchase the complete varient, instead of a downgraded one 'half of the original', it was for an obvious reason XD

And sure the ones right behind the Wall were lucky to have the complete variant . I know the reason why , the same as there was a lot of military stuff one the other side of the wall too . But at the other end it was not that good for russia that they had given east germany that MIGs at last not after the fall of the wall . ^^

You gotta come out here and see the Pima Air Museum and the Titan Missile Museum. Cool pic, btw.

Nice Museums , but first i want to the Tech museums Speyer and Sinsheim again ( was there the last time about ten years ago ) . You can run around in one of then and had not seen everything . And now the Techmuseum Speyer is more interesting that ever , now the have the Buran ( An russian spacecraft that looks in some way like the Spaceshuttles ) .

And btw i want to Bremerhaven too . There is the last Type XXI Sub U-2540 (Kriegsmarine) or Wilhelm Bauer (Bundesmarine) what name of which time you can chose .

You Germans really rock when it comes to tech museums. I envy you.
I still want to go to Kummersdorf where they experimented with all those neat weapons near the end of the war.
