Yay, I submitted art! This is a pic I drew after an epic fail moment I experienced while playing Disgaea 2. It features my fursona, KM, making pretty much the exact same face I did when I realized the massive pool of fail that I had inadvertently thrown myself into.
And with that out of the way, let's gorge ourselves on the lovely copypasta from my deviantART account that I've tossed in the microwave and set to "Obliterate."
For those of you who understand this, good for you. For those of you who don't, here's the lowdown:
In the game series Disgaea there is a place called the Item world, which is basically a world within any given item which has anywhere from 60 to 100+ floors of randomly generated maps. Each map has a random number of enemy units; The more floors you complete the better the enemies' equipment is, and the higher level and better the item you're inside becomes.
Now a "Bandit's Hand" is a high-ranking item that allows you to steal any equipment your target has, granted you are at a higher level than them and you have a good percentage rate of stealing that particular item. The Thief class has a naturally high stealing percentage rate (duh), and a Master Thief is the highest tier of the Thief class. Mana is simply what you pay to do things like Reincarnate your characters, which is usually how one goes about getting higher-tier characters.
During my Item World adventures, I came across many enemies with great equipment. Granted I should have been more careful with how I spent my Bandit's Hands, seeing as you can only carry 24 items in your inventory at a time, but I wasn't paying attention. As soon as I use my last one, I realized that the enemy that was right in front of me was holding a legendary Excalibur. The Excalibur is an extremely rare item as it is, so seeing a legendary one is pretty much a once in a lifetime chance. After realizing this, I pretty much kicked myself and screamed into the couch out of anger.
And with that, this extremely long explanation is over. Enjoy my Mastercard spoof/blasphemy.
