In his younger years, Hane liked to experiment with his flame powers. One time he directed flames out his feet and got some thrust. So this gave him an idea. He wanted to try flying but needed something for stability.... Rather than just building some wings, why not just ask your friend who happens to be a dragon? Poor Larkir didn't realize just how fast they would be going.
