The Dragon looked down at her hatchling. She smiled, starting to lick his scales in order to clean him up. The little fella seemed to be enjoying it a lot as he squeaked excitedly.
Suddenly she felt it, like a tingle in the back of her head.
"My, is it really time? Is it really me?" She asked herself.
She seemed a bit scared for a moment, then peace subsided.
"I cannot go against the will of the gods." She finally stated, calmly.
She kept on licking her offspring, closing her eyes, waiting, until she could no longer feel herself on the material plane of existance.


"...what in the name of..."
