Finally got the scanner to work with my new laptop...anyway, this is about a month or two old, but it's newer than most of the art I've been posting.
As longtimers may know, one of the normally most effective ways to break through my art blocks is to hit some randomizer and draw up what I get. The best collection of them is seventhsanctum.com...and their latest is a "Mascot Generator," which creates some random Sonic/videogame-style animal character.
In this case, the first I got was "Quester the Ram-the mysterious red-colored brawler." While that bears a fairly close similarity to a certain spike-mittened echidna (which is why I removed the ramhons I'd put on his gloves), it, along with the other descriptions I got afterward, kinda clicked. I swear, I have the makings of an old-school Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis platformer off of it.
Anyway, this is the ram himself...why is it Mobian males wear nothing but gloves and boots while Mobian females wear full outfits, anyway?
