A while ago (like several months) I had the idea of an akhal teke belly dancer. I ended up deciding not to keep the character, but the painting came out so nice I couldn't just let it sit, so I finished it up. And I'm thoroughly pleased with the result. I love painting in Mucha/art nouveau styles.
Incidentally, I might put the character up for sale shortly, once I finish his actual reference.
I can't find the link now, but I found the mandala's lines online and colored them myself.
