my voice caught in my throat, the power overwhelming as my whole body felt electrified with her essence. "Shh, relax John.." she whispered from within my mind, "i promise you're going to love this..."

i could feel her soul overlapping my own, her magical energy from within forcing its way out, and my body was changing to match the more powerful of its two inhabitants. orange fur spread up my arms and legs as i shuddered, feeling my face beginning to push out into a graceful vulpine muzzle. my feet practically exploded out of my old sneakers as they stretched into thick padded paws, making me double over to regain my balance as my stance shifted to digitigrade.

i clutched myself, feeling sharp claws tear small holes in my tee as i cried out, "w-whats happening to me! who are you!?"

"I, am Kiku, the captive guardian spirit of this shrine," she said to me, like a thought not my own within my mind. "and ive been stuck here by your family for generations. but i can tell you're not from here, otherwise you wouldn't have been foolish enough to travel here at this time, when my spiritual powers at this shrine are at their most powerful,"

body surging with change, i listened in awe, all the while feeling her energy focusing strongly at the base of my spine...

"i need to borrow your body, John. there is so much i want to do, and so many things i wish to experience again... and you are going to help me!"

i love Kiku, she is one of my absolute favorite OC's. and  mirandaleigh did a fantastic job on her in this ink sequence!

also, they have species tab for tanuki, but not one for kitsunes???
