I think the capacity for humor is... well, actually I have seen other animals exhibit that, so it's not really a human-only thing. see: "dogs" (also wolves and, I think, foxes may do it, too) and "play bow"... "rabbit" and "binky"... or "ferret" and "wardance" -- just to see that other mammals are perfectly capable of totally silly behaviour.
