What you're looking at is the Last in a series of commissions redliox came to me with some years ago, Join me now if you will and click through the folder link to see the others in the series!
Though probably the least problematic, I was admittedly avoiding this one cos...well it's a girl, one of Redliox werewolf chars (or I think she is) She-who-stares-at-stars. I took a few liberties with the posing he described but when I set out to do this (finally) I knew how it should look...and fortunately it came out just that way.
SOOO...
Redliox, Red, thank you for being so terribly patient with me, for never giving ultimatums or being pushy, you are a true gem among the many jewels of my frequent commissioners...thank you
OMG IT'S FREAKIN' DONE, I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! *goes back to running around and screaming with delight*

Hmmm... *readies critiquing speech*
Well first off, I am happy you finally completed the set for the werewolves in my Werewolf: The Apocalypse pack. It was definitely a long time waiting, and each character was challenging to render in their specific ways.
Ok, specifically for Stars here: While initially an icy background was what I desired the forest you used is suitable, and the pit in front also works. Slightly different direction than I desired but good end result. The night sky could have used some extra pattering, but admittedly that would have resulted in a larger budget required. If anything if the specific detractor, I'd say it's the fact Stars, who was a female character, looks decidedly "butch" and male; as you said, this would be a challenge for you but I have seen you render feminine characters before that, at a glance, were recognizably female. In the case of WWTA characters, especially in their 'battle' form, gender differences were minimal as all werewolves would look like fanged death machines you'd be more concerned about fleeing from as opposed to sorting out gender. Otherwise, the fur, hair, and small outfit details are fitting and about as I suggested.
Stars, Wyldfire, and Fenris were all difficult assignments I gave you but you did you honest best under difficult circumstances, and I will say your strength is definitely in colors. The only specific advice I'd suggest is communicating with your patrons regularly; for example, after you do initial sketches just send an email to them, saying "Does anything need to be changed before I move on?" I would have replied "Slenderize Stars just a bit and bring out her breasts to establish gender." This helps catch any mistakes that would become complicated to correct after additional patterns and layers are added.
Again thanks for your work DaBoz, you are a good artist.

Hey Captain! (hope it's all right if I call you that *chuckles*)
I keep meaning to tell you how much I appreciate your comments, I know most of what I do really isn't what you're into at times, but I've always liked your work, and enjoy hearing from you at random times. I still remember your stuff from the InflationNation, I used to draw a bit of inspiration from that for my inflation works...I only say used too as I hardly do it as much these days, but when I do I still like looking back to your stuff if I'm stumped.
But anyways, again thanks for commenting here and there o my works, I do really appreciate it even if I haven't said so sooner!
