Love the ribbon on the b-day card. I love it when cards and books have things like ribbon or tags on them, it gives them more...definition, for lack of a better term, that it's not just a flat card, but with a little extra to make them distinctive. I also like the (panda?) gal on the right, her happy expression makes me smile.
Haha, I know it sounds really girly, but I love ribbons and bows ~<3
And yes, it definitely adds a playful detail to cards (or anything for that matter).. I did one card where I ran ribbon though the "spine", but it was kinda hard to keep in place- it just kept unraveling XD
