This beautifully, ornate radiator cap adorns the nose of this American LaFrance Fire Truck on display in the Kansas Firefighters Museum in Wichita, Kansas. If I’m correct about the “cutout” portion above the LaFrance logo, it appears that the cap also served as the vehicle’s temperature gauge.
