Some games come and go, leaving a short impression. Other games though, come along... And become a legend. MGS is one of those games for me. After playing The Phantom Pain it inspired me to go back to the original MGS roots and do my new version of the original theme - complete with my own original meldodies to back it up. 
cheetahpaws then comes along and does utterly EPIC Phantom Pain art to then bring both era's of MGS together.

I had a feeling you were into MGS, especially with groups like Foxhound. Yet, the music felt patriotic, beautifully well done with how the brass came out in full force, the vocals including that humming add onto the feeling of this piece of art. Beautiful work Foxamoore and Cheetahpaws, you helped make MGS be timeless.

It wasn't, actually. It was purely unintentional and when people found that they were so similar, they showed Kojima, and since then no games past 4, the last game before he heard that song, has not had this theme. Peace Walker, GZ, or TPP don't use this theme because of it.
You guys did such an amazing job on this theme and props to the voice of Snake! I feel he did a lot better than most people who just focus on the gruff and go overboard with it. Solid Snake's voice still has a softness to it, especially during his speeches. Now then, I'm just gonna.. listen to this some more.
Damn it foxamoore!!!!! Now you got me playing those games again! I was trying to take a break after like 4 months of strait playing. here I am thinking "Oh I going to take a break and check up on Furaffinity. Laa la la la... Oh, what's this? Why it a MGS theme! Well it can't hurt to listen to it." And I SWARE TO THE FURRY GODS that when the brass kicked in, snake's rocket arm came out of my tv, grabbed my tail, and dragged me kicking and screaming to not only start playing Phantom Pain some more, but to start from metal gear and play all of the games buy sell date order!

I played through the first four MGS games again earlier this year, really enjoyable stuff. In general I found that MGS1 and MGS3 held up very well, MGS2 not so much and MGS4 good in terms of gameplay, but far too many long cutscenes. Yet to play MGS5.

( I'm just kind of sad they cut some part in Phantom Pain who flush all the sense of some parts of the game ( at least we can see what happen in the making of of the mission 51 but still it's suck to have stop the production of this mission, if only they could bring that mission later or a new game or I don't know... ) suck for the situation with Kojima but at least the serie are great :D )
