There is some science behind this..
Animals are more likely to breed if they are well-fed, so they are able to sustain themselves and their young for the period of time it is unlikely mom will be able to have a meal. Pandas do not eat for weeks, even months after they had a cub..
OOOR it's just a coincidence and everyone is a total horndog, even Misty, but she's just a tad uptight about it

I think it comes back to the sexual preference of the writer of the comic. Misty doesn't really get laid and hasn't had sex at all after losing her guy, but does seem to be the "victim" of many sexual advances. Even the honeybadger, who is one of the bustier characters in the comic, doesn't tend to seek out sex to the point that the audience sees her in an overly sexual light. It drew my attention because if you notice the number of female characters in the comic then you'll notice that even the busty ones aren't "in your face" about having sex as the chubby ones are.
This can be further proven by the introduction of that lion character who was placed into the comic as being a slacker and an all around self centered, "negative" character. This guy explains his own sexual preference is thin stick-figure girls. If this is designed to be a character that's the "villain" (not that there really is one in a slice of life comic) then we can believe that the sexual preference of this character may be opposite of what the writer has.
Baseless Theories are fun.

If there are chubby characters that tend to be more aggressive than the thinner ones, that's very much a coincidence. There is no intention to stereotype or typecast body types and attitudes. If it is, then maybe it's a subconscious thing we are unaware of. Then again, I'm also not the only writer.
Besides, if you look at Apple, you'll see there is no sexual advancement, merely the potential for it, with which you can see she's currently battling herself.
With Whitney there was never a sexual advancement that I can think of, merely her trying to get Misty to get out and have more fun.
Raven I don't consider chubby, but she is rather flirty, but then, she's not my character, but we're trying to keep her in character. :)
Next point:
To what lion character are you referring? There was a lion who showed up in the 'Golf of Mexico' story arc, but that's the only lion I can think of. If you mean Lyle, he's not a lion. He's just a beige-colored cat that probably looks similar to a puma or a mountain lion. Is it his broader nose and muzzle that gives him that look? :)

It was Lyle that I was thinking of. I thought that I heard someone mention he was a lion, for that mistake I apologize. Feline is feline and that's fine.
It's not even a complaint at all, just an observation that a certain body type of character tends to act more sexual than another. There's no real reason to complain about something so silly as it's a comic and there's no harm done regardless. I just wanted to point it out, because I noticed this similarity a while back, but wanted to wait and see how the Panda turned out. It could even be argued that the entire comic takes place from the mental perspective of Misty where as people acted normally up until her guy died and then we start seeing people acting more "comic-ish" than they had before. So in that way his death caused something to snap in her head and people acting in these manners do so because it's how her deteriorating mental state reads them. So in that way these people she interacts with are relatively normal, but she perceives them in a certain way. From this perspective we, the viewers, don't get to see what her actual world is like, but instead how she understands the world thanks to this snap. If that makes sense. Again, it's really nothing, just me making observations and theories. I'm not complaining about anything.
I still can't wait to see more of this comic and how it all turns out.
