Yes, its holidays themed, that is why. x:

I actually got the original image during the first week of January, and have been putting off finishing it due to other things I've been needing to do.

It so happens that this is number 6 in  tkddbull's 2009 New Years Avatar game ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1849445/ ) , it took me many days to realize it after looking at it for a minute or two every day or two. I kept thinking it was  dragonfireny x:

I asked for the original inked version of this, then in the email he mentioned he thought I'd do a good job coloring this, so I did.

Anyways, now that I finished it, I thought I'd share it even though it is themed for about...3 weeks ago. >>

PS: I kind of rushed it, so the coloring sucks. :v
