We had a good sized group of furs roaming around together for the opening day of the AZ Ren Faire, but I kind of forgot to get a picture of all of us together.
But I did make sure when we found Fireflicker, I got a good picture with her. I didn't realize how impressive her wingspan was!

Yeah, they are VERY supportive when suiters are out there. I guess it's obvious since they hired Fireflicker to roam the park and entertain the guests.
The various stage and ambient cast members have fun playing off of us. We had an aristocratic couple approach me & Krispy Foxx and we did a bit where the wife was asking the husband if she could have a couple of wonderful creatures like us. I played it off that I was misinterpreting her questions implying she wanted us as pets (or possibly a rug when saying to her husband that I "would look nice by the fire") by acting like I thought she was trying to HIRE us (I was trying my best to "yes, and" instead of "no, but" our little improv).
And of course LOTS of kids, families, and just cool people get a kick out of getting pictures and having fun with the giant fluffy people.

I hope you have fun. Fireflicker looks great. She doesn't have a set schedule, so you'll want to keep your eyes open for her wandering around. That day, we found her in the afternoon around the back near the Palace Theatre, where Cast in Bronze (The Carillon / giant bells) and Don Juan & Miguel play. But I've also spotted her around the path to the Joust as well as a bit inside the front gate area (especially if you get there right at opening cannon at 10am).

The weather makes it tricky at times, but there are some. Sometimes it seems to be more of an informal thing like someone posting on one of the AZ Furs facebook groups (or azfurs.com or whatever) "Hey, is anybody going to the faire this Saturday?" or a cluster of furry friends just deciding to go. And sometimes it's cases where they run into other furries inside the park, greet each other & hug and stuff, and either Voltron up or just continue on their ways. I will say it can get tricky to manage a HUGE group of furries at the faire for multiple reasons (the crowds, so much to see, people wanting to do different things, etc)
I'm up in Tucson, so I only kind of know a handful of the furs in the greater Phoenix area. I did help arrange a bunch of the Tucson furs to come up opening day and while I know there were a few more roaming around somewhere, our core group was roaming around for a while with 5 suits (mix of full & partials) and a couple of handlers and that seemed to be a manageable size for letting people take photos, we can do some shopping, and kind of be able to take in all the sights. One of the people who setup a Tucson Ren Faire meet last year said they had more but it was also tougher to wrangle everybody as a group.
I was acting as a guide this year but was also encouraging if people wanted to split off, they were free to do their own thing. Which was the right thing to do since around 1 is when the weather starts getting the tough and that's around when we mostly disbanded when some of them wanted to de-suit. 1-3 is kind of the harshest time of the day out there.
