Rescued this little guy from being gassed the other day, he was going to go for snake food, but long story short, the guy agreed to hand him to me.
He is called Plumbus.
He's lived in one of those plastic tubs so is getting used to having toys, and he loves his wheel. He's never been handled other than by the tail, but he's starting to enjoy that, too. His big brother, Jareth, has been teaching him well and he's really coming out of his shell now. I think he'll blossom into a really nice boy.

I couldn't say no to him <3 The guy wanted £15 for him otherwise he was going to be gassed for the snakes, but as a sanctuary, I have a 'I don't pay for rescue rats' rule, particularly when it comes to feeder breeders as I don't want to line their pockets. But he eventually agreed to give him to me for free, said he'd always prefer they get a home if they can, so thank god.
