My bff already wrote something about ME universe!Sar'een, so lemme slap it here:

This cute little cupcake is Sareen. “Cupcake” is Captain Andrews’ nickname for her. “Because she’s just a sweet little thing covered in frosting.”

My current headcanon is that Andromeda does not have mass relays like the Milky Way does, so communication between systems (and galaxies) is a lot more difficult (this could change when we have more info). Couriers are used to jump between systems to deliver messages, vids, holos, etc. Sareen worked as a courier and hated it. A lot of systems in Andromeda are unexplored and overrun with pirates, bandits, mercs, and animals who will eat her. She happened to fall into her job on the Sparta, and now happily acts as the yeoman.

Sareen’s father was a hanar and excessively polite, so she has a little bit of that in her. People cursing a lot throws her off a bit. When she gets especially frustrated (usually with Revas), she’ll use the phrase “this one”. So like, “This one cannot believe you are so mean!”
