Speedpaints (8h): Silvernis!
Talk about flying by the seat of your pants! I think this order is my fastest "scene" piece (i.e. there's actually a vague concept of background in there) to date, let alone with more than one character in it, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of myself for coming through it on time! 
Silvernis came back to me this round for a piece with their fantastic police cat lady and vigilante bat sidekick, featuring some kind of diner-related chaos spewing behind their countertop cover. Will there be an epic beatdown? A slightly less epic flight out the back door? Who knows! Just watch for flaming coffee cups on the way.
As crazy as it was to try and get this much down on the canvas in such a short period, I'm actually pretty fond of the aggressive brushstrokes and cruder areas. I think it's 'enough' to look right where it needs to. I feel like I'm getting better as an artist, and faster, too.
